Age 82, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at home, with loved ones,

after a short bout of complications from lung cancer.

He was born on May 5, 1925 in Saginaw, MI to the late Carl and Anna (Fahrenbruch) Blehm.

He is survived by his second wife, Johanna; daughters, Pauline (Delmar, Jr.) Carr,

 June (the late Luis) Rodriguez, and Margaret (David) Dahl; sons,

David (Martha), James (Joyce), Emil (Lou Ann), Carl (Pamela),

and Frederick (Sandra); 18 grandchildren with another one due in December;

 eight great grand children; siblings, Elmer (Betty) Blehm,

Ruth (William) Hillis, and Esther Gethicker.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna;

 granddaughter, Carman Blehm; and siblings, James, June, Robert,

 Gerald, John, Arthur, and Walter Blehm, and Dorothy Horden.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 8 and Friday,

November 9 with a celebration of his life on Saturday,

November 10 at 2:30 p.m. at

Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home, Belleville.
