Donald Wayne “Uncle Don” Evins

December 2, 1930 To January 29, 2010

Mr. Donald W. Evins passed away peacefully at his

home on Friday, January 29, 2010.

He was born December 2, 1930 in Centerville, Pennsylvania

a son of George Franklin and Mary Anne ( Patterson ) Evins.

On January 18, 2007 he was married to Denise S. Bukis

in Toledo, Ohio. Mr. Evins has made is home in Belleville since 1954.

“Uncle Don” as he was affectionately known was

a member of the Wolverine Riders Motorcycle Club

and the Gold Wing Riders.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy

during the Korean War.

Prior to his retirement in 1980 he had been employed

by B. F. Goodrich as a truck driver for 20+ years.

Mr. Evins is survived by his loving wife,

Denise S. Bukis of Belleville.

Dear father of Shae ( Will ) Millard of Belleville,

Nicholas Dearing of Belleville

and Rebecca ( Jason ) Roberts of Belleville.

Fond grandfather of 4 grandchildren;

Thomas, Nathan & Bailey Millard

and Jason Roberts, Jr. Brother of Doyle Evins.

Several nephews and great nephews also survived.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial service and motorcycle ride will

be scheduled in the spring.

The family has suggested memorial contributions to the

Hospice of Michigan, 400 Mack Ave., Detroit, MI 48201

in lieu of flowers.
