Kathryn M. Grusecki

June 5, 1955 To October 19, 2011

Mrs. Kathryn Marie Grusecki passed away on Wednesday,

October 19, 2011 at Arbor Hospice, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

She was born on June 5, 1955 at Fr. Benning, GA

a daughter of Frederick Oscar and Dolores Louise (Garlanger) Phillips.

On June 26, 1976 she was married to Dennis John Grusecki

in Benton Harbor moving to Belleville from Kalamazoo in 1976.

Mrs. Grusecki was a member of the Belleville Area Arts Council.

She loved to read, travel (especially to Disney World), cooking and cook books.

She was a volunteer at the Henry Ford Mansion.

She had been a volunteer librarian at St. Anthony Academy.

But, her greatest passion was her family.

Survivors include her husband Dennis J. Grusecki;

daughter, Merritt Grusecki; mother, Delores Phillips;

sister, Ann (Tom) Browning; parents-in-law,

Walter J. & Veronica Grusecki; brothers & sisters-in-law,

James (Paula) Grusecki, Robert (Cathy) Grusecki,

Michael (Doralyn) Grusecki, Mary Jo (Jeff) Seward,

Richard (Lori) Grusecki and Dale (Michelle) Grusecki.

Very special aunt to 15 nieces and nephews

and many great nieces and nephews.

Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral Mass will be Saturday, October 22, 2011

at 2:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church,

211 Church St., St. Joseph.

Father James Richardson will serve as celebrant.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 21, 2011

from 4 – 7 P.M. at the Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home,

209 Main St., Belleville and

Saturday, October 22, 2011 from noon – 1:30 P.M.

at the Dey-Florin Chapel, 2506 Niles Ave., St. Joseph.

Burial was on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Calvary Cemetery.
