Harry E. Kaminski
April 18th 1947 To May 25th 2007
Passed away Friday, May 25, 2007 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor. He was born April 18, 1947 in Trenton, Michigan a son of Edward and Ellen Jean ( DeLozier ) Kaminski. On June 24 1966 he was married to Rose Julienne Lecarpentier in St. Germain En Layes, France, moving to Belleville from Ypsilanti in 1999. Mr. Kaminski was a caring and giving dad and husband who enjoyed a good joke and teasing. He was a hard worker, enjoying auctions, junk cars and his tow truck. He was always busy. Mr. Kaminski was very sociable and outgoing. He enjoyed coin collecting, snowmobiling and his 4-wheeler. Prior to his first retirement in 1984 he was a Staff Sergeant in the U. S. Army for 20 years. He then retired from Woodbridge in Whitmore Lake where he was a high-low driver for 20 years. Mr. Kaminski is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 41 years; Rose J. Kaminski. Dear father of Valerie Kaminski of St. Louis, MO, Patricia Kaminski of Colorado Spring, CO, Harry L. Kaminski of Belleville & Phillip Kaminski of Belleville. Fond grandfather of Steven & Angeline Kaminski. Brother of Joyce, Monica and Roger. Nephew of Patricia ( Alphonse ) Schaaf. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 from 1 – 4 & 6 – 8 P.M. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Belleville ( 734-697-9400 ). Burial will follow at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to Rose J. Kaminski in lieu of flowers.
