Magdalen Mary Malburg

Belleville MI, formerly of Detroit. 

  Mrs. Magdalen M.Malburg passed away Thursday, October 5, 2006 at Botsford General Hospital, Farmington Hills, Michigan.  She was born December 24, 1909 in Metamora, Ohio a daughter of Peter and Elizabeth ( Smith ) Mossing.  On October 26, 1935 she was married to Cyril Theodore Malburg in Ohio moving to Belleville from Detroit in 2000.  Mr. Malburg preceded her in death on May 31, 1961.  Mrs. Malburg enjoyed her garden.  She lived independently until the age of 90.  Mrs. Malburg was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and was devoted to her church.  She enjoyed family meals but most of all she loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Mrs.  Malburg was the devoted mother of Bernard ( Barbara ) Malburg of Livonia, Barbara Rayburn of Westland, Carol ( Richard ) Boylan of Waterford, Marilyn ( Rick) Moore of Belleville and Charles ( Diane ) Malburg of Texas.  She was the fond grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2006 at the Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Belleville ( 734-697-9400 ). The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Belleville. 

Memorial contributions were suggested to either the American Heart Association  or St. Anthony Catholic Church.
