Mrs. Joyce McRobert “Grandma Sam”, passed away on July 28, surrounded by her family at

 St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI following a lengthy illness.  She was born on

 December 12, 1920 in Petrolia, Ontario, Canada.  Joyce was preceded in death by her husband

 Donald on November 30, 1995. 

Grandma Sam was a member of Dearborn Baptist Temple, Fordson Chapter Order of the

 Eastern Star and the Rainbow Hues.

 She is survived by her loving children; son, Michael (Patty) McRobert of Butler, IN, and her

 daughter, Joanne Zavisa of Dearborn, MI, her cherished extended family; Amy Denstedt,

 David (Carrie) Darkowski, Christine Denstedt, Kerri Svenson, Zach, Nick and Kayla.

Visitation for Grandma Sam will be held on Tuesday, July 29 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 at the Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Belleville, MI 

734-697-9400. 

 Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 11:00 A.M.

at the funeral home, with Pastor Ted Aller officiating. 

Interment will follow at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, MI. 

 Memorial contributions in Joyce’s name are suggested to Heartland Hospice, 3840 Packard

 Rd, Ann Arbor, MI  48108.
