Mrs. Dorothy Michalek passed away October 4, 2010 at

St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor.

She was born March 27, 1922 in Cotter, Missouri a daughter

of James Robert and Ida Mae ( Sturm ) Watson.

In 1949 she was married to Walter Michalek in Belleville, Michigan.

Mrs. Michalek was a life long resident of Belleville

until 2007 when she moved to Chelsea, Michigan.

Mrs. Michalek enjoyed reading and sewing.

Her greatest pride and joy came from helping raise many generations of children.

Mrs. Michalek is survived by her daughter Beverly Keller of Belleville.

Her special niece and caregiver; Denise ( Lee ) Skyles of Chelsea.

Grandmother of Kelly Wenzel and Scott ( Karen ) Wenzel,

4 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by 2 husbands, 4 children and 1 grandson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010

from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 P.M. at the Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home,

209 Main St., Belleville, MI 48111 ( 734-697-9400 ).

Funeral services will be on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Knollwood Cemetery, Canton.

The family has suggested memorial contributions to
