GENEVIEVE T. MYTYCH

 September 3, 1925 – June 12, 2008

 

Genevieve T. Mytych age 82 passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Oakwood-Annapolis Hospital, Wayne. 

 She was born September 3, 1925 in Detroit a daughter of John A. and Barbara Mary ( Klarynski ) Kukla.

  On August 16, 1947 she was married to Joseph John Mytych in Detroit moving to

 Belleville from Detroit in 2001.  Mr. Mytych preceded her in death on September 1, 1977. 

 Mrs. Mytych was a member of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America and a

former member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Detroit. 

 She enjoyed crocheting, bingo and dining out. 

Mrs. Mytych never missed the festival at SS Peter & Paul Church.

  She never had a drivers license, however this did not deter her from her

enjoyment of shopping at K-Mart.  Mrs. Mytych loved her children,

but most of all she loved her grandchildren.  Mrs. Mytych is survived by her loving children;

 Edward ( Mary Beth ) Mytych of Westchester, PA.,

 Thomas ( Rosemary ) Mytych of Belleville, Robert Mytych of Belleville, Debra Mytych

of Chicago, IL. & Paul Mytych of Westland.

 She was the fond grandmother of 5 grandsons, 1 great grandson & 1 great granddaughter.

  Sister of Virginia Kukla of Southgate.  Preceded in death by 4 brothers.

Final prayers will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Monday June 16, 2008

at the Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home,

209 Main St., ( 734-697-9400 ) with a procession to St. Stephen’s Catholic Church,

 18858 Huron River Dr., New Boston for mass at 10:30 A.M.

  Visitation will be on Sunday June 15, 2008 from 1 – 8 P.M.

 with a scripture service at 5 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

   Memorial contributions are suggested to Thomas M. Mytych for the wishes of the family.
