Paul Louis Spivey

July 4, 1932 To September 3, 2008

Mr. Paul Spivey of Belleville passed away on September 3, 2008 at U of M Hospital at the age of 76 from heart failure.

He was born on July 4, 1932 in Moss, Tennessee, a son of Bijah and Madge Spivey. He was a proud veteran who was honorably discharged on October 15, 1955 after serving for four years in the Army. Paul retired in 1994 from City Disposal where he was employed as a landfill driver.

Mr Spivey is survived by his loving wife, Diane Spivey, 3 daughters; Sandy Smelser and Nona Spivey, both of Monessen, PA., Karen Bartolomi of Morris, IL., 1 son; Jeff Spivey of Pontiac and 1 stepdaughter; JayneAnn McDougald of Westland.

Also survived by his sister Helen Frizby of Trask, OH.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, a son; Rick Spivey, a grandson; Kyle Smelser and 2 brothers; Randall and James.

Cremation Rites have been accorded.

A memorial service for Paul will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at the

Higgerson & Neal Funeral Home, 209 Main St. (734) 697-9400.

2pm service.
